The Journal of the Korean Society for Quality Management welcomes state-of-the-art papers from researchers and practitioners working worldwide in the field of quality management.

The Journal explores the changing role of quality management. The Journal seeks to explore various aspects of quality management as closely interrelated phenomena in the context of ongoing transformation processes of organizations and societies. Thus the journals' scope is not limited to micro perspectives of management related issues. It seeks further to explore processes, principles and consequences related to quality in a broad range of organizational and scientific processes. These processes embrace managerial, economic, social, environmental and even engineering and statistical dimensions in order to better understand the past, the current situations and the future.

The Journal also seeks to embrace a holistic view of quality management and explicitly promotes the emerging field of quality innovation. The Journal is an open forum and one of the main channels for communication of interdisciplinary research and practices. Publications in the Journal engage with the emphatically dynamic nature of contemporary quality management. Fully open access, the Journal is devoted to collaboration, open innovation, co-creation and knowledge-sharing across organizational and national boundaries.

The Journal of the Korean Society for Quality Management publishes Book Reviews, Case Studies, Empirical Articles, Review Articles, and Theoretical Articles.

When evaluating original research, the editors seek well-developed studies that are on sound theoretical footing with respect to their justification. Successful submissions will display high-quality statistical and/or qualitative methodology when it comes to sample and data collection, as well as fluid writing. Papers should clearly describe the implications and significance of the work, contributions to the existing literature, potential limitations and opportunities for future research.

Authors of articles published in Journal of the Korean Society for Quality Management retain the copyright of their articles and are free to reproduce and disseminate their work.
